- 1 ½ cup cane sugar (Add to cart)
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup A2 Desi Cow Ghee (Add to cart)

- 10-12 cashews (fried in A2 Desi Cow Ghee)
- 10-12 almonds (sliced)
Instructions
Instructions
1. Soak the Karuppu Kavuni Rice
- Rinse 1 cup of karuppu kavuni rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 8 hours or overnight. This will help soften the rice and reduce the cooking time.
2. Grind the Rice
- After soaking, drain the water and grind the rice into a coarse paste. Add little water while grinding to get a smooth but slightly grainy texture for the kavuni arisi halwa.
3. Cook the Rice
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, add the ground karuppu kavuni rice and 3 cups of water. Cook on a medium flame while stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming. It will take around 15-20 minutes for the rice to cook properly.
4. Add Milk and Sugar
- Once the rice is cooked, add 1 cup of milk and 1 ½ cups of sugar. Stir continuously so that the sugar dissolves and blends well with the rice. You will notice the mixture thickening.
5. Incorporate A2 Desi Cow Ghee
- Slowly add ½ cup of A2 Desi Cow Ghee in intervals, stirring continuously. The A2 Desi Cow Ghee will enhance the richness and flavor of the halwa. Cook until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and starts to glisten.
6. Add Flavorings
- Once the halwa thickens, add ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder for a hint of aroma. Stir well.
7. Garnish and Serve
- In a separate small pan, fry cashews in A2 Desi Cow Ghee until golden brown. Add them, along with the sliced almonds, to the halwa. Mix thoroughly and serve warm.
