Depending on which part of the country you belong to, a myriad of images will pop up in your mind as soon as you think of ladoos. Out of the many ladoo varieties, the most nutritious variant is the health mix ladoo or known as sathu maavu ladoo in South India.The health mix ladoo is a protein rich snack. This recipe uses VEYR Multigrain Health mix prepared with naturally sourced ingredients of various pulses and grains.Perfect for kids snack box or as an evening snack.
Ingredient
- 1 cup VEYR Multigrain Health Mix
- ½ cup VEYR palm sugar
- 2 tbsp VEYR Ghee
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder.
STEP 1 : Dry roast multigrain health mix for 8-10 mins until a nice aroma comes and color slightly changes and set aside. Add palm sugar and cardamom powder to the roasted mixture.
STEP 2 : Heat VEYR Ghee and add to the mixture. Now mix well and let it rest until it's warm enough for you to handle. Shape them into ladoos.
STEP 3 : It is advised to add ghee in batches. The amount of ghee can be increased to get softer ladoos.
STEP 4 : Store the ladoos in an airtight container and enjoy your healthy snack.
